Glycogen

Glycogen is a macromolecule composite from molecules of glucose. It occurs in the liver and muscles. Muscular glycogen is used as a resourceful source of energy for physical effort. It separates directly in muscle into molecules of glucose what are the main source of energy for muscular cells.

Adequates amount of glycogen in muscles supports persistency and advances physical effort – mostly endurance and power-endurance sportsmen. Tiredness and physical power decreases after its depletion.

The sources of muscular glycogen can increase importantly by periodical practice and nourishment and sufficient amount of saccharine. Liver glycogen is not used as a source of energy. It serves as store-house of glucose which is used to keep a balanced glycemia (the lever of blood sugar)
