Lactic acid

Lactic acid is an organic substance accrued in muscles from glucose destruction. Normally it is created in small volume and transports to the liver where it is changed to glucose again.

When the body is physically active, glucose is the main source of energy for working muscles and more lactic acid is produced. If the removal of lactic acid from muscles is too slow, small grains are accruing and making muscle strain, pain and cramms.

Regularly training athletes produce less lactic acid and it is degrading rapidly. The lactic acid production can be decreased by using Creatine, L-carnitine, Tribulus terrestris etc. nourishing supplements.
