Testosterone

Testosterone is a male sex hormone but it is also made in a small quantity in a female body. It is made in spermatocysts and partly in the crust of epinephral.

During teenage age, a level of this hormone increases and activates growth of genitals, develops another sexual characters, and a male type of sexual orientation. In an adult age is testosterone necessary to keep up genitals in the normal function. The level of testosterone is decreasing in male’s bodies by age.

Testosterone has also another activity and is helping to produce body’s proteins, helps the growth of muscle tissues, and makes an expressive anabolic effect. During exercise is testosterone wash off, what has a positive effect on growth of muscle tissues. This positive level is showen up just when exercise is only around 45 minutes with high intensity.

When the exercise is long and the intensity is still high, the level of this testosterone is decreasing very shortly.
